Barbate, at the entrance of the Strait of Gibraltar, has lived and lives connected to the sea and one of its most precious resources, the Bluefin Tuna. Both maintain a close and special relationship, in which an exclusive fishing gear and adapted to the characteristics of this species has been maintained for thousands of years without losing its effectiveness.
The tour starts from the port of Barbate, surrounding the entire Almadraba enclosure. We will head to the west until reaching the outskirts of the Trafalgar Cabe. Later, we will cruise to Caños de Meca, touring through the coast of the Natural Park of “La Breña” and Las “Marismas” of Barbate”.
After the boat tour, we will do a short break at the canned tuna center and we will enjoy an exquisite tasting menu in a restaurant specializing tuna (2 menus to choose).
