Tips for bathrooms
Bathrooms in Morocco
We recommend that you take your own soap and shampoo to Morocco even if the hotel you are going to stay in is supposed to be a luxurious hotel or "5 Stars."
In many hotels the only thing that will supplied is a small stick of soap that you will be expected to use as saop and shampoo.

This may seem like a joke, but if you will be grateful if you take your own toiletries.

There is the same problem with the toilet paper of most bathrooms. Toilet paper is supplied, but it is always toilet paper that feels like newspaper.

Also we recommend that you bring your own hair dryer, because the majority of hotels do not supply them (because they use a lot of electricity.)
Baby wipes would be useful to wash your hands after meals and when you have to use a public bathroom.

If you need to use a public bathroom you will be suprised with what you see. The photo to the right is a photo of a clean bar
Even though there are bathrooms in most bars, some bars do not. In the photo to the right is an especially clean bathroom of a bar in Chaouen.
Right outside the bathroom you will find a sink with a stick of soap and towel to wash your hands.
Don´t forget to fill up the bucket of water and empty it when you are done.
