All tours involve a fair amount of walking often over uneven cobbled streets, hillsides or steps. Participants on all tours should be able to walk or stand for at least thirty minutes without aid or requiring a rest.
Accommodation is based on triple occupancy with private bath or shower and toilet unless otherwise stated.
THE COST DOES NOT INCLUDE
Personal items, cost of visas, gratuities for service provided on a personal basis.
SPECIAL REQUESTS BY CUSTOMERS
Any special request made on your booking form will be noted and we will do our best to provide these for you. We cannot, however, guarantee to comply with your request.
CHANGES BY SOLCHASERS
At the time of publication all information in our brochure has been checked and is, to the best of our knowledge, correct. However, for reasons beyond our control, changes may need to be made to timetables, hotels and programmes. We cannot therefore guarantee that itineraries and programmes will be followed as published.
On the tours to Morocco we always intend using the ferry advertised to the destination shown. We hold the right, either for reasons beyond our control or for reasons beneficial to the tour, to change the ferry and or the destination but this will not constitute material change to the programme.
CANCELLATION BY CUSTOMERS
Should you have to cancel your tour, you should notify us in writing advising us of the reason of the cancellation. The scale of cancellation charges is calculated according to the numbers of days prior to departure that written notice is received by us.
A fee of 15 € per person will apply to all cancellations.
Cancellations made up to 15 days before the departure time will receive a full refund of payment.
Cancellations made up to 10 days before the departure time will receive 95 % refund of payment.
Cancellations made up to 3 days before the departure time will receive 85 % refund of payment.
Cancellations made up to 2 days before the departure time will receive 75 % refund of payment.
Absences on departure or no show will not receive any refund.
SPANISH GOVERNMENT TAX ON ALL DEPARTURES
This tax is included in the basic price of the tours.
Participants are expected to carry and check their own luggage at all transfer points.
There is a no smoking policy on all our buses.
COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTES
If you have a complaint, we must receive notification in writing no later than 28 days after the end of the tour.
CANCELLATION BY SOLCHASERS
Sometimes there has to be a minimum number of participants on a tour to make it viable, and if this is not reached we reserve the right to cancel the tour. In this case, there would be a full refund of all payments made, and notification of cancellation would be at least ten days before departure date. If cancellation is necessitated through force majeur – e.g. civil strife, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster – we shall refund the portion of payment made to us by clients which has not been committed irrecoverably by us to the tour. However we can be under no other liability to you in such cases.
Our pricing is based on the exchange rates ruling of July 31, 2008 provided by Travelex Global. Surcharges may be imposed if cost increase as a result of government action, currency fluctuation, or increases in overflying charges, airport charges or scheduled air fares. In any event we will absorb an amount equivalent to 2% of the tour fee. If the amount of the surcharge exceeds 10% you will be entitled to cancel and receive a full refund of all monies paid. This right to cancel must be exercised within 14 days of receiving written notification of the surcharge.
LIMIT OF LIABILITY
Solchasers acknowledges responsibility for the correct description of services offered in this brochure and for the preparation of the travel arrangements. Only limited responsibility for the performance of the services provide by airlines, coaches, ferries, hotels, agents and other suppliers can be accepted by Solchasers. No responsibility is accepted for loss or expenses due to sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantine, negligence, loss of baggage or other causes, such losses being the responsibility of the traveller and for certain of which insurance is available.
PASSPORTS & VISAS
Passports are required on all tours to Morocco, regardless of nationality. The passport must be valid and allow for more than one (1) entrance into Spain. Personal identification cards, driver’s licenses, or similar documents are not valid and will not be accepted.
Visas are required for entrance to Morocco and Gibraltar for citizens of certain countries. Citizens of the E.U. and the United Status of America DO NOT NEED VISAS to visit either Gibraltar or Morroco. All others should consult the country list to be sure of their legal situation.
FORCE MAJEURE (MOROCCO ONLY)
If the meteorological forecast allows for good weather, the bus will depart from Seville. If the weather turns for the worst and the boat is unable to weigh anchor from Tarifa, the agency will look for other alternatives to cross the strait to reach Algeciras. In the event of a complete cancellation of maritime traffic the bus will return to Seville and the each client will be refunded the total cost minus 30 €.
If during the course of the trip the weather turns for the worst and the boat is unable to weigh anchor from Algeciras, the agency will look for other alternatives to cross the strait to reach Tarifa. In the event of a complete cancellation of maritime traffic and the necessity to stay an extra night in Tangier, the agency will not be responsible for the costs associated with an extra night of accommodation and meals. The agency will assist all clients in finding suitable lodging. We do not accept any responsability in delays causated by majeure force.
