What is Ramadan?

Ramadan is one month a year that all muslims have to honor. This month is the ninth month of the lunar year.

From when the sun rises, until the sun sets, the muslim men and woman can´t eat, smoke, use perfume, or have sexual relations.

The only people that do not have to follow these rules are the sick, pregnant, travelers, and children. All of these rules are dropped once the sun goes down.

Also the end of Ramadan is celebrated greatly by the people with big parties.
